The eight valve motor "pulls" strong from low revolutions (maximum torque assigned to it is only 2800 r. p. m.), disposes increased flexibility and produces 77 h.p. at 5.400 r. p. m. The sixteen valve motor is oriented to achieving high maximum power, producing 91 horses at 5.600 r. p. m. Despite all this its maximum torque is ascribed to it in relatively low revolutions (3.700), an event contributing to the limitation of consumption.
Transmission of movement tot the front wheels and the tested combination of the independent front suspension ( Macpherson type), with the unbending post axle guarantee excellent road behaviour. The work of safe slow down of the car is undertaken by ventilated disc brakes in the front wheels and by drums in the rear wheels. |
The various electrical facilities (electric windows, central locking, lighting spot for the driver/co driver, indicator for open doors etc.) undertake making life easier for driver and passengers alike. The list of the extra accessories includes wood or aluminum linings, for the esthetic improvement of the interior. The steering wheel is regulated by height, to enable any driver, irrespective of height, to feel comfortable in its seat and find the ideal driving position. |
The baggage space is impressive (400 litres). Lada 110 disposes a top for its category boot, able to contain all baggage of an average family. In the rear seat is wide enough to accomodate three passengers. In the case there are only two passengers, a hidden arm rest is available for added comfort. |
